Toshiyuki Sawada is the president of the Exoskeleton company which manufactures robotics, and is Misaki Senomiya’s boss. He is also the son of a member of the Committee of 300 and knows quite a bit about the Committee of 300 and its activities. The company he runs is considered a front organization of the Committee.
Sawada secretly despises the Committee of 300 and has been planning on rebelling against them for many years in order to fight against their evil plans. To this end, he is part of a secret organization working against the Committee. Besides Sawada, other confirmed members of the group include Itaru Hashida, Nae Tennouji, and Takumi Nishijou.
Eventually Sawada finds allies in Kaito Yashio (finding and giving him the Noah IV) and the rest of the Robot Research Club, after Misaki uses the SUMERAGI to destroy the other robots at the Tokyo Expo. It turns out that Misaki was brainwashed by the cyber ghost of Kou Kimijima into being Kimijima’s pawn and a loyal operative of the Committee of 300, and although Sawada was technically Misaki’s boss, he had been ordered to hire her to that position and part of Misaki’s job was to spy on Sawada for the Committee. Only after Misaki’s wild behavior at the Tokyo Expo is Sawada able to operate freely and finally carry out his plans, since he no longer has to worry about her spying on him anymore.
