Tetsuharu "Doc" Fujita (藤田 鉄治, Fujita Tetsuharu) is the grandfather of Junna Daitoku and runs the Robot Clinic where he repairs both hobby and life-size robots for a living.

About 50 years before the events of Robotics;Notes, Tetsuharu would often go and visit expert robot engineer Jiro Aizawa, known as the Robot Doctor, to get him to teach him about robots. Tetsuharu became a proficient engineer. Sometime he began working as a NASDA engineer.
In 2001 he opened the Robot Clinic, a store mostly selling and working with robot toys, RC vehicles and more for children. In front of the store he put up nine life-size, talking robots, modelled after Aizawa's works, for the countless visiting kids to enjoy, a sight which delighted Tetsuharu. But when his granddaughter Junna Daitoku badly hurt herself because of a robot on one of her visits in 2008, he became deeply regretful and started to believe that robots could never be mankind's friends. To prevent his robots from ever hurting a child again he cut the wiring of each of them and locked them in a storage room in the Robot Clinic, and stopped marketing towards children altogether.
On the day she founded the Robotics Research Association, Misaki Senomiya came into the Robot Clinic and told Tetsuharu that she wanted his help to build a life-size giant robot for the Robotics Research Association. To get him to cooperate, Misaki made a deal that if the Robotics Research Association were to win the ROBO-ONE that year, he would give his skills and knowledge to them. Tetsuharu accepted the wager and when Misaki won ROBO-ONE he decided that he would support the Robotics Research Association for as long as he could.
Sometime that same year Mitsuhiko Nagafukada accidentally crept into the Robot Clinic's storage room and was subsequently banned from the Robot Clinic when Tetsuharu found him, enraged.

Etymology[]
- The name Tetsuharu means "iron" (鉄) (tetsu) and "cure" (治) (haru).
- Tetsuharu's surname Fujita means "wisteria" (藤) (fuji) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta).
