Frau Koujiro Factory (stylised as FRAUKOUJIRO FACTORY) is the five-person development team and independent manufacturer behind the popular first-person fighting video game Kill-Ballad. The team was put together by Kona Furogoori who invited four other people she knew from a Gunvarrel online community.
History[]
In August of 2017, Frau Koujiro Factory first released Mobile Battler Gunvarrel Kill-Ballad Online to wide success, gaining up to 20 million users in 2019.
Members[]
- Kona Furogoori (Boss)
- Hanjuro Hattori
Hanjuro Hattori, real name Mitsuko Hattori, is a 23-year-old unemployed female NEET who lives in Tokyo. She and Kona have never met in real life. In Phase 7, while the robots were being hacked in Tokyo and lashed out at people, she hesitantly started believing in Kona when Kona told her that she was not the one behind the RI robot cyber attack.
- ChuChu Yasumasa
A 38-year old married man with children living in Tokyo who does the modelling for Kill-Ballad. He likes 3D robot modelling and building plastic models. In exchange for being stepped on the back by Kona, he accepts her various requests.
- Kisspop
- Maguyan
As described by Kona, he is a chill person who supported her with Kill-Ballad's programming. When he met Kona at an offline meeting in May, 2019, he was chubby, single and had a liking for 2D. Some time after this, however, he was brainwashed by a suborganisation of the Committee of 300 into believing he had a abducted wife and child, and became as a result substantially thinner during the next six months. To reclaim his supposed family, he followed the orders of the threateners and created three cheating Kill-Ballad bots that quickly rose to the three leading ranks. Kona was unable to catch them with her cheating tool since the cheating tool itself had been programmed and modified by Maguyan so as to prevent the Kill-Ballad bots from ever being found out. The bots collected data from the top players for six months which was later, during the RI robot cyber attack in Phase 7, used by a single bot using a combination of all the other three bots' playstyles. This bot then served as a lock to RI's server; anyone who defeated it could give the robots that had gone out of control different commands. Maguyan also hijacked into Kona's Twipo account and wrote messages to frame her as the robot cyber attack instigator. When Kona however called him out for not having a family, he grew disconcerted and was unable to recall the gender and name of his child. The next morning he flew to the Philippines to seemingly reunite with his family, but it is strongly hinted that he was murdered after arriving.
